Geraldine Reed Brown is president of the Reed-Brown Consulting Group, LLC. She holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an AB from Fisk University, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with departmental honors. Her experience includes working as an associate in the corporate department of White & Case, an international law firm, as an attorney in the legal department of J.C. Penney Company, Inc., as a vice president for the Columbia Group, a full-service public utility consulting firm, and as an executive consultant with Tatum & Associates, LLC. Her honors include listings in Who's Who of American Women; Who's Who in America; Who's Who in American Law; and Who's Who in the World. In 2013 she received a Business Advocate Award from the New Jersey Supplier Diversity Development Council. She is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the United States Supreme Court.
Brown is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority and is active in her local Montclair chapter. She is active in her church as a member of United Methodist Women, and was a bell ringer in the intergenerational musicians and singers. She is the proud mother of Kimberly and Mike and for 41 years has been the blessed and beloved wife of her law school and business school classmate Ron. She loves writing, public speaking, and going to the golf driving range, as well as exercising at the local YMCA with her husband.

Brown serves (and has served) on numerous boards and committees, including the following: Harvard Business School Women's Association of New York; New York State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Executive Committee, Co-chair of the section's membership committee, the mediation and arbitration committees of NYSBA; Board of Editors of the New York Dispute Resolution Lawyer; trustee, Ramapo College of New Jersey, secretary of the board and member of the executive committee; and president of the Harvard Law School Association of New Jersey.
